The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 on 08 February 2026 (Sunday). This will be the 21st edition of CTET, conducted across multiple exam centres in India.

The CTET February 2026 examination will be held in offline mode (Pen and Paper / OMR Based). Candidates who have successfully submitted the CTET Application Form 2026 will be able to download the CTET Admit Card 2026 from the official website ctet.nic.in once it is released.

CTET Admit Card Release Date 2026

CBSE will release the CTET Admit Card 2026 on the official portal ctet.nic.in approximately two days before the exam date. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for the latest updates and download the admit card as soon as it becomes available.

To download the admit card, candidates must log in using their Application Number along with Date of Birth or Password.

CTET Exam Timing 2026 (Shift Details)

The CTET examination will be conducted in two shifts:

Shift 1

Time: 09:30 AM to 12:00 Noon

Shift 2

Time: 02:30 PM to 05:00 PM

Candidates must report to the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.

CTET Paper Structure 2026

The CTET exam consists of two papers, based on the teaching level:

Paper I (Primary Level)

  • For candidates who want to apply for teaching positions in Classes I to V

Paper II (Upper Primary Level)
