1. Assistant Commandant – General Duty (GD) [Male]

  • Age Limit:
    Candidates must be between 21 to 25 years as of 01 July 2026 (i.e., born between 01 July 2001 and 30 June 2005, both dates inclusive).
    Note: A relaxation of 5 years is applicable for personnel currently serving in the Coast Guard or equivalent forces in the Army, Navy, or Air Force.

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university.

    • Must have studied Mathematics and Physics up to Class 12 under the 10+2+3 education scheme.

    • Graduates who pursued degree courses after a diploma are also eligible, provided the diploma curriculum included Physics and Mathematics.

2. Assistant Commandant – Technical (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) [Male]

  • Total Vacancies: 30
    [SC: 3, ST: 4, OBC: 8, EWS: 2, UR: 13]

  • Age Limit:
    21 to 25 years as on 01 July 2026 (Born between 01 July 2001 and 30 June 2005).
    5 years age relaxation for serving personnel as mentioned above.

  • Educational Qualification:
    Candidates must possess an Engineering degree from a recognized university in one of the following disciplines:

    • For Mechanical Branch:
      Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering.
      (Or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Institution of Engineers (India), exempting them from Sections A & B of AMIE exam.)

    • For Electrical Branch:
      Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics & Communication, Power Engineering, or Power Electronics.
      (Same exemption rule as above applies.)

    • Additionally, candidates should have studied Mathematics and Physics up to Class 12. Those who pursued graduation after diploma must ensure their diploma curriculum covered both Physics and Mathematics.
